Mission Ready Launches New Tactical Body Armor Solution

VANCOUVER, B.C. – (TSX-V: MRS) – Mission Ready Services Inc. (“Mission Ready” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the recent launch of its new Flex9Armor, a patent-pending Next Generation Body Armor solution that provides enhanced range of motion without compromising wearer protection.

Displaying a size large, weighing 3.2 lbs., the Protect the Force, Flex9Armor Tactical Shirt was unveiled at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show, Las Vegas, NV in Jan 2016.  The SHOT show is a publicly restricted show attended by over 64,000 industry related individuals. Flex9Armor provides built-in and rapidly deployable NIJ Certified Level II (.357 Magnum and 9mm) and Level IIIA (.44 Magnum and 9mm) protection in the yoke, collar, and deltoids for an impressively lightweight, modular, and flexible ballistic solution.

Co-developed with the US Army Natick Soldier Research and Engineering Center and launched by Protect the Force Inc., the Flex9Armor tactical solution is ideal for breaching operations, tight spaces, first-responder protection, and training exercises.  While the Flex9Armor is designed specifically for physically demanding conditions, the low-profile ‘exoskeleton’ design maintains comfort and full functionality for greater articulation in the shoulder and deltoid region.

During the testing and evaluation phase, a US Marshal explains his experience wearing Flex9Armor during several tactical operations. “I conducted building entries, spent time on the range and did shotgun and explosive breaching wearing the Flex9Armor. It was very comfortable and functional. Most of the time, I didn’t notice the weight or even realize I was wearing a ballistic shirt.”

Unlike the conventional armor panels on the market today, the Flex9Armor is virtually unnoticeable under the standard armor vest, providing maximum readiness and optimal protection for the wearer.  As an added benefit, the ballistic panels can be easily removed for decontamination.  The material is breathable, anti-microbial and moisture wicking.  Flex9Armor is available with flame resistant options upon request and comes in OD Green, Black and Multi-Cam colors with standard sizes ranging from Small to Extra Large.

Two resources that are virtually unmatched at TEEX are our access to first responder SMEs and realistic training facilities,” Holt said. “When these two resources are combined with our long-standing partnership with Texas Center for Applied Technology, we add engineering expertise to develop and execute testing protocols for some of the most innovative technologies in first response. For this reason we can proudly offer all technologies selected for DPSI’s Technology Transfer Program to become TEEX TESTED®.
